Disaster in Uttarakhand- Fragile Himalayan Region

Our experiences have taught us very clearly that the Uttarakhand region is very fragile from two perspectives; one the mountains in this region are 85-90% constituted of mud, sand and debris. The other aspect of fragileness is from spiritual point of view. The mountains in Garhwal & Kumaon, Himalayan region are also called as baby mountains, which are sensitive, fragile and very shy in nature. God exists in this region, that's why probably this is also known as Dev Bhoomi. I remember one of the regional believe, that one use to not even shout loudly in some regions of Himalayas( Garhwal & Kumaon). There are some places if you shout loudly or create a sound, stones start falling and the region is disturbed. On the name of development we have constructed big buildings, Unthoughtful blasting for constructing roads, high numbers of dams, habitation close to river belt, sharp deforestation, mining etc. Intervention in nature’s boundaries has resulted to all what we have recently experienced. This needs no discussions that this region needs cleanliness, cleanliness not in terms of plastics or environment. Yes that is required but there is other aspect of cleanliness which is related to body made of panch bhoot(earth, wind, water, fire and space/sky) and we have forgotten to look into this aspect. It is important to mention that holy shrines like Kedarnath ,Badrinath and others are technical in nature sanctity should be maintained as per the process which is being followed since ages. These days we all visit shrines just for the sake of fun and have made them as picnic spots. Shrines cannot be honey moon spots. Young Ladies in olden days never use to travel to such shrines if they are in their physiological days. Nobody is sure if such fundamental rules are being followed. This needs self awareness. Men also used to observe complete Brahmacharya during the Yatra in terms of food and other habits. Managing cleanliness in environment and in inner self is very important aspect, if you want to enter in the Himalayan region. Another important aspect of this region is that on the name of development/ construction, many important and ancient temples are being displaced from this region which is not a healthy action from environment perspective. Finally, on 16th June 2013,The Himalayan Tsunami came at 8.15 am clearing all manmade infrastructures. The only area left untouched is the "Lord Shiva Temple" and "Nandi" outside the temple. Spiritually It seems as if the nature performed Abhishek of Lord Shivaafter cleaning all the dirt around the Holy Shrine.. Breaking the Temple door, the mountain water entered the Temple and performed the Jal Abhishek/Pooja. Also prior to the Tsunami in Himalaya region the temple of Dari Devi was displaced. Dari Devi Temple was in news for quite long as large number of regional community was not in favor of displacing the ancient temple. Temple Dari Devi is one of the ancient temple with high degree of energy level located close to Garhwal Srinagar. This is the firm belief of residents of Himalayas that this is the result of the unrest of Dhari Devi and disturbing her existence from the location which was ages old. This is completely spiritual and beyond the thoughts of science and logic. Science can not intervene in unfolding the logics of rituals which are being performed from ages.
My sincere urge is to manage the balance of environment and spiritual sanctity. Earth will not exist if Himalayas are not safe. If Himalayas are not safe, yours and my so called flats, bungalows, farm houses, Government Rest Houses.....etc... will not be safe in Delhi, Bombay or elsewhere.
So please wake up and DO NOT TOUCH/ INTERVENE IN NATURE' BOUNDARIES.

Role of Desires

In his faith Nachiketa knows that all the pleasures, even the highest joys of life, do not continue forever. They pass away, leaving pain in their wake. No matter where one goes, or what one does, as long as worldly desires are present there can be no real peace. It doesn’t matter whether a person lives totally in the world, surrounded by and fully partaking of the world’s pleasures, or in the wilderness apart from all enticements. Whenever there are desires for worldly things there will be discontent.
It is only in practical daily life that people can deal with desires and attain self-control over the senses and thoughts that drive the desires. People must learn to rise above desires and see their limited value. Only when they rise above desires and gain mastery over their senses and thoughts will they begin to realize real joy. They will see that as they let go of their attachments to worldly things, including their own material bodies, they will begin to experience a sense of peace of immeasurably greater value than any wealth or comfort material existence could ever offer.

Grace of God

We all are born for some purpose. One need to be very positive for all the Godly works. The value of Guru is above God, he is the one who helped you to overcome all the confusions and hurdles in life.

Wisdom is achieved by the help of Guru, not by reading books.

View of Today

Things are not always as they seem; the first appearance deceives many........

Love and Devotion

What is the difference between love and devotion?
Love without devotion is not actually love, it's only a mutual benefit model. When you truly love someone, you will naturally be devoted. Love is from mind whereas Devotion is from heart. Mind always looks for self benefits whereas Soul is beyond logic and the mathematical models of calculations. Love has conditions attached to it. Only if your expectations are fulfilled, your love will continue, else it will end. Devotion is not like that. It's unconditional.

Love and Devotion, however, are "not" two different things, but people still tend to see them as being different because one is meant to attain sprituality while the other is expected to fulfill one's daily need. A devotee is never thinking in terms of his own well being.

One who is devoted to his work, will always be higher in success than a person who simply loves.

Be devoted then simply loving.

Power

There must be some enzyme in our brain, which gets activated when we attain power. The best usage of power is to help the needy. If someone uses his power to disrupt the structure, the system disrupts him faster. It's a fact, "If you want to test a person, give him Power". Implementing power in a positive way becomes constructive, while using power to it's own favor turns to be self centric and harmful for the society and the organization. When you attain power don't get submersed into it, one need to be on the top of it for better results.

As per mythology, the best examples of a power usage are by Lord Rama, Krishna, Shankaracharya, The Popes etc...and on the negative side the Ravana, Kansa, Duryodhana, Kakeyi, Shakuni, Hitler, Musolini, etc....

If you attain Power, use it to build society, use it to build the organization and use it into building your Character. Don't let your mind corrupt. Organizations and society will be benefitted out of your behavior with the positive blend.

Top Reason People Divorce

India was known as a country with least divorce rate. It’s increasing day by day and multiple reasons and parameters are influencing. Once the bedroom arguments go out in public, based on my counseling experience, couples have very rare chances to settle. Counseling may be of help to a certain extent but the confidence level / willingness of partners should be high. It’s better to plan for mutual settlement rather than going in depression, paying on frequent court room visits and facing unnecessary pains. One should listen to soul.....try to settle down. Never be swayed away by your advisors. Most of the time external advices takes you to a longer path. Keep your EGO aside, this is the key element of all the problems. One should be mature enough to understand that God has given youthis life to live, pray, worship, enjoy.... not to fight on petty issues and keep wasting the precious moments of this birth. TALK WITH OPEN MIND AND HEART YOU WILL GET THE SOLUTION. Never try to harm each other.

The top reasons for divorce:
Poor communication between couple and two families/ friends ( if involved in marriage)
Change in priorities. This can be caused by having kids or due to ones job, career oriented mind set.

Lack of commitment to the married life
Ego
Taking each other for granted
Failed expectations of your spouse/ Family
Sexual issues
Extra marital relations
Influence / involvement of wife’s parents and family
Other reasons that come up frequently, but not as frequently are:
Addictions
Infidelity
Physical, emotional or sexual abuse
Importance to money
Over work

Have you seen God?

Most of the people will agree to the fact, that very rarely anybody, will come forward and say that he has seen God. But, if you ask anybody about his experience of life most of the people will say that they have experienced some miracles.....(Sit down in silence, relax your mind, try to slow down your thoughts and start rewinding your life's major incidences. Let your logical mind ask question to your heart/soul/Atma and you will get the answer)..and in lay man's language we say such miracles have happened due to the blessings of God. One need to have fine observation to experience and observe such miracles. These miracles happens in everyone' life and it happens on daily basis....to accept such happenings you need to keep your logical mind / ego aside and you beilve on what I am saying......
Some of my colleagues aruge about Sceince & Technology above the Nature / God. I tell them in very simple language, understanding of Nature / God starts from the point where Science & Technology stops thinking. To make you understand...let me give you an example.

Science and Technology is still way behind to understand what is that which is keeping a person alive......yes, I know you will say it's breath or Oxygen. Then let me ask you, when a person dies...why can't anybody ( Science & Technology) design an Oxygen Pump and agian pump the same Oxygen which has come out of the human body and make him alive. ....

Looking forward to receive your comments.

Perfection

Be perfectly resigned, perfectly unconcerned, no self interest then alone can you do any honest and true work for the soceity. We can not see any real forces from our naked eyes, we can only see the results: Good or Bad. Just let the God work for you, he will do it for your betterment. You have all that you can do and nothing is happening. You have done all that is humanly possible. Then what else can you do?In sheer helplessness one drop all search. And the day the search stopped, the day you leave seeking for something, it started happening. A new energy arose- out of universe and you will find yourself contended, satisfied, spritually intoxicated and relaxed.

Attaining Moksha

Whatever is here, that is there. What is there that again is here. He who sees any difference here, goes death to death.
To attain Moksha - Nirvana, one has to detach completely from "All and Everything". We all have some role to play, we deliver all the dialogues, which are assigned to us and act on this wordly stage accordingly. An average human being attach himself / herself to amenities/ develop relationship around him/ her and keep carrying forward all the debts and credits. All such acts drags again and again to this destroyable world.

What is Hope?

A standard definition of hope is "to feel that something desired may happen". 'Feel' and 'May' are the words that denote uncertainty. These are the two most important links which connects you to that unseen supernatural power and inspire confidence to connect with God. Hope might not hold the promise of security, but paradoxically, it enhances our capacity to live, work and ultimately transform ourselves within an insecure, unstable environment.
Most of us hold on hope against all odds. And hope creates/germinates the linkage of trust with God.

Prayer

In almost all the religion, we have rituals and governance system to perform Prayer. However there is provision yet for one-on-one communication between you and your faith/believe /Almighty power and so called God. God is not a person hiding somewhere and looking at us to punish us for bad and reward for good. Theory of Karma applies for all Good and Bad that happens to us. Everything comes back to you, this may take sometime but one day it will back and show the existence of deeds you performed knowingly or unknowingly
Prayers helps in form of energising your self with positive energy and taking out all your negative elements of thoughts/ waves. It's not the mathematics of your prayers, how many count/ times you perform, nor the harmonic of our prayers, how eloquent they may be, nor the time of your prayer how lengthy they are, nor the orchestrated music of your prayers, how sweat and loud your voice may be; nor any predefined method of your prayers, how methodical they may be observing. In true sense, a true prayer is that which comes from the heart and communicate effectively with the existence energy level, so called God.
Poetic saint Kabir Said
"Maala Pherat Jug Bhaya, Mita Na Man Ka Pher Kar Ka Manka Chhor De, Man Ka Manka Pher"
Translation
Eons have passed whirling rosary, restless remains the mind Give up the beads of rosary and rotate the beads of mind
Kabir asserts that instead of concentrating on the rosary beads and its count of rotation, one should focus and become aware of the wavering mind. For only by becoming aware shall we become alert and be able to guide ourselves towards poise and serenity. This is the ultimate aim of Prayer /Meditation – to become calm and experience the oneness between our individual self and the cosmic self.
